Envision has established links with TMA Planning and Design Ltd based in Hong Kong and in particular Joe Ma with whom we have worked with on a number of projects.

Joe Ma is a town planner/urban designer with over 25 years of experience in the UK, Hong Kong, Macau and China. His work for the UK Government, the Hong Kong Government and in the private sector has given him comprehensive experience in managing myriad design and development projects. His project experience in the UK includes Planning for Real exercises, revitalization of Alexandra Palace, design and conservation of the Highgate and Wood Green areas, urban design for the Green Lanes area and the Belfast Dockland Development.

His Hong Kong experience includes the planning and design of a number of major public housing projects on Hong Kong Island the Tung Chung New Town, Planning and Development Study for the North East New Territories, design competition for the West Kowloon Cultural District, South East Kowloon Development, Green Island Reclamation Study, Aberdeen Tourism Study, Ngau Tau Kok Urban Restructuring Study, North Point Estate Redevelopment Study as well as many private sector development projects.

His project experience in Macau includes a number of large scale hotel, leisure and entertainment complexes and the design of a library building for the Macau University of Science and Technology. He also has extensive experience in leading large scale complex development and design projects in China including major railway and mass transit development studies in Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen and Wuhan, urban design of new towns and cities, cultural and heritage preservation projects and the preparation of a UNESCO submission for the Sanxingdui archaeological site in Sichuan.
